How do you find the first customers for your panel?

Setting up a panel takes a day. The real difficulty starts afterwards, your site is ready, your catalog is full, payments work and nobody shows up. This post is about the routes that work for finding your first customers without an advertising budget.
First, accept this, the first customers will not come to you
It takes months for a new panel to rank in search. You will find the first customers. That phase is temporary but you cannot skip it.
1. The reseller channel, the fastest route
Retail customers arrive one at a time, a reseller buys regularly and in volume. For a new panel this is the most productive channel.
Where are the prospective resellers? Agencies growing their own social accounts, people who want to run a small panel, social media consultants. What you offer them is not a retail price, it is tiered discounts, their own child panel and API access.
A single reseller can bring more revenue than a hundred retail customers, with far less support load.
2. Be visible in communities
There are Telegram groups, forums and Facebook groups where social media growth gets discussed. Pasting your panel link there does not work, you get thrown out. What works is genuinely answering the technical questions people ask. After a few weeks they start arriving through your profile.
3. Traffic from content
Your panel's blog is the cheapest customer source over the long run. Genuinely useful posts on subjects like "how to grow instagram followers" or "getting on the TikTok for you page" bring in the audience searching for their problem, not for you.
That audience is closer to buying because they have only just noticed the need. Putting a pointer to the relevant service at the end of a blog post lifts conversion noticeably.
4. Hold on to your first customers
The biggest loss for new panels is losing the customers who do arrive. For the first 50 customers, these make the difference:
- Answer support tickets the same day. Speed and attention are a new panel's only competitive edge.
- Give a bonus on the first top-up. A small amount of extra balance brings the second order.
- On a problem order, do not argue, refund. In the early days reputation is worth more than margin.
- Pay a referral bonus. A happy customer is your cheapest marketing channel.
What does not work?
- Bulk DMs and spam. It burns your account and your brand.
- Competing on price alone. Someone cheaper than you will always turn up, and a customer who came for price leaves for price.
- Trying to be everywhere at once. Going deep on one channel beats being shallow on five.
The first fifty customers are the hardest. After that, referrals and repeat orders speed things up on their own.
