Privacy Policy

This policy explains the personal data we process as FollowerHQ on https://followerhq.com.

1. Who we are

2. Two separate roles

We process data in two different roles, and the distinction matters:

  • As controller: your portal account, your billing, your support tickets and your visit to this site.
  • As processor: the data inside a panel we host, meaning the account, order and payment records of the panel owner's own customers. The panel owner is the controller of that data; we process it only on their instructions to provide the service, never for our own purposes.

3. Data we process

  • Account: name, e-mail address, an irreversible hash of the password, phone where given, preferred language.
  • Billing: plan, invoice and payment records, the transaction id returned by the payment institution. Card details never reach us; they stay with the payment institution.
  • Panel content (as processor): the panel owner's customer accounts, orders, balance movements and support tickets.
  • Technical: IP address, browser information, session cookies, error and security logs.
  • Domain and DNS: the domain attached to your panel and its zone records.
  • Support correspondence.

4. Why we process it

To provide the service and run your panel, to handle the subscription and billing, to give support, to keep the service secure, to prevent fraud and abuse, to improve the service, and to meet legal obligations.

5. Sub-processors and sharing

Data is shared only as far as the service requires, with providers in these categories:

  • Hosting and infrastructure: server, database, CDN and DNS providers.
  • Payment institutions: to collect subscription payments.
  • E-mail delivery: for transactional and notification e-mail.
  • AI providers: only while the AI add-on is on and with the key you configured in it; what is sent is limited to the operation the add-on is used for.

We do not sell or rent data. Where a lawful request is made, we may share as far as the law requires.

6. International transfers

Our infrastructure and some of our providers may sit outside your country. Where data is transferred we take care that the safeguards the law requires, contractual protection clauses included, are in place.

7. Retention

Account and panel data is kept while your account is open. After termination, once the window for exporting data has passed, panel data is permanently deleted. Billing records are kept for the retention period the law requires. Technical logs are short-lived.

8. Your rights

You may access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, object to it, and receive your data in a portable form. Use the contact details below; you also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.

If you are a customer of a panel, address your request to that panel's owner first: they are the controller of that data. A request of that kind reaching us is passed on to the panel owner concerned.

9. Security

Passwords are stored irreversibly; payment credentials and API keys are encrypted; all traffic is served over HTTPS. Panel data is held separated per tenant. Administrative access is permission-bound and logged.

10. Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are used for sign-in, security and language preference. The site does not work without them. Should analytics or marketing cookies be used, this policy is updated and consent is collected where required.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes are notified before they take effect; the current version is always published on this page.
